Hill Gallop

Smarden Flyer (2yrs colt by Markaz), Meryems Way and 4yrs by Red Jazz - now named The Red Cleric - all enjoyed a trip to the hill gallop this week. They all worked well and Smarden Flyer is learning quickly, looking forward to his upcoming barrier trial which he celebrated whilst in the field!

Fontwell 30th May

Deewhy, Uallrightharry and Steel The China all travelled to Fontwell for a very warm and successful summer's day racing. Deewhy ran a much more encouraging race, finishing well to come fourth, followed by Harry running an extremely competitive race to come third, only beaten by two very competitive horses whilst he was under the top weight. China finished the day off with another third. It was lovely to see all three horses in the frame and in the winners' enclosure with their owners after what has been a very hard and long winter. As always, we would like to pay credit to our fantastic owners for their continuous support, as well as the team at home for all of their hard work this difficult season.

Spring cleaning

Every year the rug rooms are tackled to store the winter rugs away. This time Charlotte and Libby took on the task and were told by Karen to do it gradually over the week and to not get all of the rugs out at once. Unfortunately they got slightly over excited about it and decided to organise it all in one go, hence the chaos (and spiders!) that commenced.
